ECN-581A-QM57 – the Dual DVI Display Multimedia Box with extended temperature range!

IPC2U presents the new Dual DVI Display Multimedia Box ECN-581A-QM57. It combines a very compact size (only 180mm x 138mm x 50mm) with high performance. The new 32nm mobile Intel i5-520 2.4GHz CPU is equipped with many features as Intel Turbo Boost Technology and Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, that provide high efficiency QM57 chipset. Together they offer the 1,36 times higher CPU performance and 1,62 times higher performance for 3D representations like Intel T9400 processor with the GM45 chipset. Moreover the QM57 chipset offers the Intel Active Management Technology, that enables remote management of PC. 

The ECN 581A-QM57 has a high-powered graphics engine with full AVC, VC-1 and MPEG2 decoding acceleration. Auch supports the ECN-581A-QM57 the 1080p HD Digital Output for large panels. The Multimedia Box is also able to support Dual Display, that can be connected over DVI. The DVI-D connector supports up to 1920x1200 resolution, the DVI-I connector provides VGA output over DVI to VGA adaptor. The ECN-581A-QM57 is equipped with 2.5“ SATA Drive Bay and a lot of interfaces such as 1x Gbit LAN, 4x USB und 2x RS-232. The system has 2GB DDR3 RAM onboard, max. up to 4GB. The ECN 581A-QM57 can withstand harsh external influences and can be used in demanding environments. The box has an operating temperature range between -20°C and 50°C (with HDD) and is compliant to the  MIL-STD-810 F 514.5C-3 vibration standard (with SSD).
