ACT-412A – the new powerful access and control terminal!

IPC2U introduces ACT-412A, the new All-in-One RFID access and control terminal. It is equipped with dual EM/ Mifare Leser, 12.1“ Touch Screen as well as x86 processor. ACT-412A is based on the Windows Embedded operating system, which enables more easy development of different applications. Thus the system is ideal for security and real time commincation applications.

The system provides a powerful Display with 400cd/m2 brightness, 450:1 contrast, 262k colours. Furthermore ACT-412A is equipped with 300k Pixel CMOS Webcam and a microikrophone. The front panel matches to IP64 standard. Two 3W speakers and dual RFID reader for 125kHz-EM and 13.56MHz-Mifare guarantee high functionality of the access and control terminals.

Considerable performance and at the same time high reliability of ACT-412A are delivered by the power saving Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz in connection with the 945GSE + ICH7-M chipset. These enable the fanless operation and thus need for low maintenance.  Up to 2GB DDR2 RAM also contributes to good performance of  the access and control terminals.

Moreover ACT-412A offers with 2x COM, 3x USB 2.0, 2x Gbit LAN, Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11 b/g, 4x DI/DO and WDT a comprehensive  interface range.  A HSUPA modul is optional availiable. Data storage proceeds over CF Typ II slot and 1x eSATA.

ACT-412A is  very tough regarding to  temperature: it can operate between -10° and 50°C. It can be mounted with VESA as well as Wandmontage.
ACT-412A can be successfuly used in access control, building automation, medical area and person identification.
